I’m Emma, he’s Jack.

At the beginning of 2019 we found ourselves renting a flat just outside of the centre of Newcastle. We decided that we wanted to move to Cullercoats, a small village on the North East coast, and started the hunt. We completely fell in love with a run down, 1930’s semi-detatched house. We didn’t have any renovation knowledge or experience but decided to give it a go. We’re learning a lot as we go and carrying out a lot of the work on evenings and weekends (we both have full time jobs as scientists).
